One, Two, Three, Four..
Up talking and drinking
while all the folk that go to work for a living
are going to work but don't want to be there,
what's the point,
the point's that we take all this for granted,
we should count our blessings,
but you don't think that way
when you're caught up in the moment,

What did I do last night,
how did we end up here,
where did everybody go,
we're wasting away,
and we'll never get it back..

Something tells me this is the shape of things to come,
I can't see it changing,
any time now we're going to burn out
but that's not going to slow up down,
we're just getting started,
oh there'll be consequences,
but you'll never see it that way
when you're caught up in the moment

They want to see us fail,
they love it when we go a little too far off the rails.......
