A department of the City of Irving, the CVB and its Executive Director report to a City Council-appointed Board of Directors. The Convention and Visitors Bureau represents the $456.4 million dollar year hospitality industry in our community, the benefits of which allow the average Irving household to save $309 annually in taxes. Funded solely by hotel/motel tax collections, the Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau targets corporate, convention and leisure visitors to our Hospitality Industry Partners - the city's hotels, restaurants, attractions and shops, as well as attractions throughout Dallas /Fort Worth. Our award-winning staff makes service a priority, whether your travel and meeting needs are big or small. The strength of the visitor industry and the city's hotel/motel tax collections also provide the funding resources for the city's vibrant Irving Arts Center,Historic Preservation program.
